Job summary

Cera is seeking a community carer to support clients at home across Castle Douglas, Kirkcudbright and surrounding areas. You will assist with personal care, meals and medication, visiting people in their own homes.

A driving licence and access to a vehicle are required, with SVQ2 development funded by Cera. We offer flexible shifts, a supportive team and access to Cera Tech to reduce admin and prevent hospitalisations.

Qualifications

• No care experience required; warm-hearted and willing to help.
• Driving licence and access to a vehicle required.
• Registration with the SSSC and working towards SVQ2 (funded by Cera).

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, medication, and meals.
• Visit clients in their own homes and travel between visits.
• Support clients in Penrith, Stainton, Mungrisdale, Glenridding, Patterdale and surrounding areas.
• Ensure client safety and wellbeing.
