Moat House Care Home in Burbage near Hinckley seeks a Care Assistant to deliver high-quality, person-centred care for residents, promoting dignity and wellbeing. You will support personal care, mobility, nutrition, hydration and daily living, following care plans and documenting well-being.
The role involves working with a supportive team, encouraging activity, helping with meals and accompany residents to appointments. Alternate weekends are required and training opportunities are provided.
Moat House Care Home is a modern residential, dementia, respite and day care home in Burbage, near Hinckley, Leicestershire. As Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in residents' lives by delivering high-quality, person-centred care that promotes dignity, independence, choice and wellbeing.
You will support residents with personal care, mobility, nutrition, hydration and daily living, while following individual care plans and responding sensitively to their physical, emotional and social needs. You will monitor residents' wellbeing, promptly report any changes in condition and maintain accurate care records to support safe, consistent care.
Working as part of a supportive team, you will encourage residents to participate in activities, assist with meals, accompany them on appointments and outings where required, and help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment. You will follow Health & Safety, infection prevention and safeguarding procedures, ensuring residents remain at the heart of everything you do.
The successful candidate will be required to work alternate weekends.
