Job summary

Yarnley House Care Home in Crow near Ringwood is seeking a Care Assistant to join our brand-new luxury service serving 72 residents.

You will support daily living including personal care, mobility and nutrition, following care plans and recognising changes to ensure safe, compassionate care. You’ll work with a supportive team in a warm environment and receive full training and ongoing development. Alternate weekends are required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 is desirable or willingness to work towards.
• Previous experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Full training and ongoing development provided.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily living activities including personal care, mobility and nutrition.
• Follow care plans and recognise changes in condition to ensure safe care.
• Deliver high quality, person-centred care promoting dignity and wellbeing.
• Work as part of a supportive team in a warm environment.
• Be available to work alternate weekends.

Job description

Our brand-new, luxury service is set in the small village of Crow, which is very close to Ringwood. We provide quality Residential, Dementia, Nursing and Respite care for 72-residents.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.50 per hour
• Contracted to 24-48 hours per week
• Paid DBS pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.

The successful candidate will be required to work alternate weekends.
