Job summary

Care Concern Group is seeking a Senior Care Assistant at our 60-bed Greatwood House in Denton, near Manchester. You will lead a care team to deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred care and ensure the shift runs smoothly with accurate records.

You will oversee medication, monitor residents' wellbeing, and liaise with families and healthcare professionals to maintain continuity of care. Greatwood House offers supportive development and a caring workplace.

• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (minimum)
• Medication administration training with competency is essential
• Experience supporting or leading a care team is beneficial

Job description

As Senior Care Assistant, you will guide and support your team in delivering safe, high quality, person centred care that makes a real difference every day to our residents. You will take responsibility for the smooth running of your shift, ensuring care is well organised, consistent and delivered to a high standard. Alongside providing hands on care, you will oversee medication, monitor residents' wellbeing and respond to any changes, ensuring care remains safe and appropriate. You will maintain accurate care records and work closely with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals to ensure clear communication and continuity of care.

  Our 60 bedded home provides residential and residential dementia care.   £14.35 - £14.95 per hour
• Contracted to 33 or 44 hours per week
