Job summary

Mayflower Care Home, part of Care Concern Group, is seeking a Care Assistant to help residents with daily living, personal care, mobility and nutrition, ensuring dignity and wellbeing. • NVQ Level 2 is desirable or willingness to work towards
• Previous care experience beneficial but not required
• Willingness to learn and develop

• Follow care plans and recognise changes in condition to ensure safe, responsive care
• Work as part of a supportive team to create a warm and positive environment that values residents' dignity

Job description

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.32 per hour
• Contracted to 23-46 hours per week
• Paid DBS pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
