Job summary

Caraway Care Home in Selsey is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to support residents with daily living, dignity and wellbeing.

You will follow care plans, assist with personal care, mobility and nutrition, and work as part of a friendly team. Full training and ongoing development are provided, with bank shifts available and a supportive, person-centred culture.

Qualifications

• A caring, compassionate and respectful approach.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• A reliable and positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and develop.
• Previous experience is beneficial but not essential.
• NVQ Level 2 is desirable or willingness to work towards.

Responsibilities

Job description

Nestled in the beautiful seaside town of Selsey, our luxurious care home offers exceptional levels of Residential, Nursing, Dementia & Respite care for 70-residents.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.00 per hour
• Contracted to 38.5 hours per week + bank shifts available
• Paid DBS pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
