Job summary

Valarian Court Care Home in Didcot, Oxfordshire, invites applications for a Care Assistant.Help residents with daily living and personal care while following care plans to ensure dignity and wellbeing. Training and development will be provided, with weekend work required on a rotating basis.

Open to newcomers or experienced carers; full and part-time contracts available. The home emphasises a warm, respectful environment and strong teamwork.

Based in Didcot, Oxfordshire, our newly-built care home offers exceptional standards of Nursing, Residential, Dementia and Respite care for 70-residents.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.52 per hour
• Full & part time hours available
• Paid DBS pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care. The successful candidate will be required to work alternate weekends.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
