Job summary

Bluebird Care Rugby is seeking a caring Care Assistant to join our expert team and help us set the standard of high-quality home care in the community.

You will support customers with daily living tasks, work independently or as part of a supportive team, and contribute to delivering care with dignity and respect in the comfort of their own homes.

Qualifications

• A caring, compassionate attitude and calm approach to care.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Good communication and ability to build relationships.
• Previous care experience beneficial but not required.
• Willing to complete training and DBS checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care tailored to each person’s needs.
• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Help with meal preparation and nutrition.
• Support with medications and prescriptions.
• Carry out light housework and errands.
• Be a friendly, dependable face for customers.

Responsibilities

As a Care Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

• Provide high-quality care tailored to each person’s individual needs


• Assist with personal care (e.g. bathing, dressing, grooming)


• Help with meal prepping, preparation and nutrition


• Support with medication, prescriptions and safe disposal


• Carry out light housework like tidying, laundry and general cleaning


• Be a dependable friendly, familiar face for all the customers you care for


• Flexible hours

• Monday - Friday, Every other weekend
