Job summary

Bupa UK at Waverley Grange in Farnham is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to support residents with personal care and daily activities. You will contribute to their wellbeing, dignity, and independence within a supportive team environment.

This permanent role offers day and night shifts (8am-8pm or 8pm-8am) with alternate weekends. We value compassion, reliability, and strong communication to deliver high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Motivation, positivity, and great interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Desirable: Previous experience in a care home environment or a Health and Social Care qualification.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with a wide range of differing requirements from companionship to personal care.
• Observe and manage residents' behaviour with care and ensure to document and report any changes in accordance with the required legislation.
• Support residents' nutrition and hydration needs, encouraging and assisting them to eat and drink according to their care plan.
• Provide essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, both in groups and individually.
• Maintain accurate care plans in line with regulatory & legal requirements.
