Job summary

Bupa is seeking a Care Assistant at Wingham Court Care Home in Claygate (KT10 0RQ). You'll provide person-centred care that supports independence and honours residents' choices, delivering high standards of care with our Brave, Caring, and Responsible values.

You'll work with a supportive team on day and night shifts, with 12-hour shifts and alternate weekends. Previous care home experience or Health and Social Care qualification preferred; motivation and excellent communication are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Support residents with a wide range of differing requirements from companionship to personal care. Observe and manage residents' behaviour with care and ensure to document and report any changes in accordance with the required legislation. Support residents' nutrition and hydration needs, encouraging and assisting them to eat and drink according to their care plan. Provide essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, both in groups and individually. Maintain accurate care plans in line with regulatory & legal requirements.

What we're looking for

Motivation, positivity, and great interpersonal skills. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Previous experience in a care home environment or a Health and Social Care qualification.
