Job summary

Bupa UK is seeking a Care Assistant for night shifts at Tadworth Grove Care Home. You will support residents with personal care, nutrition and activities, while documenting changes and following regulatory guidelines.

The role offers permanent, full-time hours with 39 hours per week and alternate weekends in Tadworth. We value motivation, positivity, and excellent communication, plus a background in care or health and social care qualifications as desirable.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
• Desirable: care home experience or a Health and Social Care qualification.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with companionship and personal care.

Key Responsibilities

• Support residents with a wide range of differing requirements from companionship to personal care.
• Observe and manage residents' behaviour with care and ensure to document and report any changes in accordance with the required legislation.
• Support residents' nutrition and hydration needs, encouraging and assisting them to eat and drink according to their care plan.
• Provide essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, both in groups and individually.
• Maintain accurate care plans in line with regulatory & legal requirements.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Desirable: Previous experience in a care home environment or a Health and Social Care qualification.
