Job summary

Alexander House Care Home in Exeter is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. You will provide compassionate, person-centred care across days and nights, supporting daily living activities and wellbeing.

This role offers full and part-time hours, paid DBS check, uniform provided and paid holiday entitlements. You’ll work with a supportive team and gain training and development to progress in care.

Care and Support - Alexander House Care Home

Contract: Full Time and Part- Time

Our newly built care home is based in the charming suburb of Pinhoe, Exeter. We offer exceptional standards of Nursing, Residential, Dementia and Respite care for 67 residents.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.00 per hour
• Full & Poart time hours available
• Paid DBS pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our resident's lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.

The successful candidate will be required to work alternate weekends.
