Rowan Park Care Home, part of Care Concern Group, is looking for a dedicated Care Assistant to support residents with daily living in a rural setting. You will work with the team to deliver person-centred care that respects dignity and independence.

This role involves personal care, mobility support, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, following care plans, with full training provided. The position requires alternating weekends and is contracted to 24 hours per week at £13.75 per hour.

Our modern, traditionally built care home situated in the rural town of Radstock, will provide luxury accommodation for 50-residents. We will specialise in Residential, Nursing, Dementia and Respite care.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.75 per hour
• Contracted to 24 hours per week
• Paid DBS pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.

The successful candidate will be required to work alternate weekends.
