Job summary

Healthcare Homes Group is seeking caring and reliable staff for Sovereign Lodge in Eastbourne to support residents with personal care and social interaction. Flexible day and night shifts are available to suit your preferences, with a warm, welcoming home by the seafront.

You will receive a thorough induction and ongoing training through our Healthcare Homes Academy, with opportunities for qualifications and career progression within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience in personal care is desirable but not mandatory.
• Willingness to undertake induction and training.

Responsibilities

• Supporting individuals with personal care (hygiene, washing, dressing, etc).
• Providing companionship and offering social interaction
• Maintaining accurate resident records

33hrs per week - Day Shifts - 8am to 8pm

36hrs per week - Night Shifts - 8pm to 8am

Sovereign Lodge provides residential and nursing care in a warm, friendly and welcoming environment. Situated close to the seafront in the town of Eastbourne, the home is surrounded by beautifully maintained gardens with ample seating for outside events. The staff adopt a person-centred approach and genuinely care for residents.

What would a typical day look like?

Supporting individuals with personal care (hygiene, washing, dressing, etc.)

Providing companionship and offering social interaction

Maintaining accurate resident records
