Job summary

Healthcare Homes Group is seeking a kind and dependable Care Assistant for Haughgate House in Harrogate. This role involves supporting residents with personal care, companionship, and daily activities, with accurate record keeping and attentive, respectful care.

We offer induction and training, a comprehensive benefits package, pension, and opportunities for qualifications through the Healthcare Homes Academy. Alternate weekends are included, with night or day shifts available.

Qualifications

• Experience in care preferred and compassionate by nature.
• Able to work alternating weekends and shifts.
• Commitment to resident dignity and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with personal care (hygiene, washing, dressing).
• Provide companionship and social interaction.
• Maintain accurate resident records.
• Participate in induction and ongoing training.

36hrs per week - (including Alternate Weekends) - Night Shifts - 8pm to 8am

33hrs per week - (including Alternate Weekends) - Day Shifts - 8am to 8pm

What would a typical day look like?

Supporting individuals with personal care (hygiene, washing, dressing, etc.)

Providing companionship and offering social interaction

Maintaining accurate resident records
