Job summary

Dalgety Bay Care Home, part of Care Concern Group, is seeking a Care Assistant to provide person-centred care for residents. You will support daily living, personal care, mobility and nutrition, following care plans to ensure dignity and wellbeing.

This role welcomes both experienced carers and newcomers, with full training and ongoing development. Various contracts available plus pension, PVG, uniform, onsite parking and generous annual leave.

Qualifications

• A caring, compassionate and respectful approach.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable and positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and develop.
• Previous care experience is beneficial but not essential.
• SVQ Level 2 is desirable or willingness to work towards.

Responsibilities

• Help residents with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing.
• Follow care plans and recognise changes in condition to deliver safe, responsive care.
• Support a warm, friendly environment and positive relationships within the team.

Job description

Dalgety Bay Care Home is a purpose built care home located in the coastal town of Dalgety Bay in Fife. Providing Residential, Nursing, Dementia and Respite care for up to 68 residents, the home offers a warm, welcoming and supportive environment where team members can make a meaningful difference every day.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.60 per hour - Dayshift
• £13.73 per hour - Nightshift
• Dayshift & Nightshift Available
• Full time, part time and bank contracts available
• Pension, Paid PVG, Uniform provided, Onsite parking
• 5.6 weeks annual leave based on a full time contract
  
  

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
