Job summary

Oakbank Care Home in Crieff is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to help deliver high-quality, person-centred care for residents.

You will support daily living activities including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, following care plans, recognising changes in condition, and contributing to a safe, respectful environment. Full-time and part-time contracts are available, with a £500 welcome bonus paid in two instalments and benefits such as pension, PVG, and uniforms.

Job description

Oakbank Care Home is a well established care home in Crieff, providing Residential, Nursing, Dementia, Palliative and Respite care for up to 70 residents. With a strong, supportive team and a focus on high standards of care, the home offers a positive working environment where staff feel valued and supported in their roles.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.60 per hour
• Full time and part time contracts available
• £500 welcome bonus paid in two instalments: £250 after 3 months and £250 after 6 months
• Pension, Paid PVG, Uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave based on a full time contract

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
