Job summary

Comfort Call is recruiting Care Assistants to support service users across Cheltenham in their own homes. You will build trusted relationships, provide companionship, and help people live independently with dignity. roles cover various local packages and hours, with travel between clients within the community.

We offer guaranteed hours, funded NVQ/Diploma training, and clear progression paths in a supportive team. No visa sponsorship; right to work in the UK required.

We’re currently recruiting Care Assistants across some of Cheltenham’s most vibrant and diverse communities. Thanks to rapid expansion, we are actively hiring for:

• Cheltenhamis one of our rising stars! With new referrals arriving every week, this area is growing at an exciting pace. Supported by a small, dedicated team, we have ambitious plans to expand into several thriving local teams across the area. With a mix of council-contracted and private clients, there’s plenty of variety and opportunity to make a real impact.
  
• Forest of Deanis an exciting new area for us, and the demand is already clear to see! As we continue to expand into new locations, we’re keen to build a strong presence in DN4 and establish dedicated care rounds within the community. Initially supporting council-contracted clients, we hope to grow our reach even further and welcome private packages alongside them as the area develops. It’s a fantastic opportunity to be part of something from the very beginning.

We also have opportunities across through out Cheltenham and Gloucestershire

Local Work, Local Clients We aim to match our Care Professionals to clients within their local area wherever possible, helping you spend less time travelling and more time making a difference.

We believe great work deserves great pay. You will be paid

Our services operate 7 days a week. 24 hours a day, 365 days per year. This includes weekends and bank holidays (including over the festive period)

We are currently looking for staff to cover the below shifts patterns:

Earlies -6.00am - 15.00pm

Tea & Bed - 15.00pm- 22.30pm

Alternate weekends on a 2 weekly rota basis

About the Roles & Specific Packages

You’ll play a vital role in supporting our service users to live independently, with dignity and confidence. Because we provide highly tailored, person-centred care, we are currently welcoming applications from both male and female care professionals to cover new referrals.

Where specific client packages require a male or female carer for personal care, this is an occupational requirement exempt under the Equality Act 2010.

Qualifications

What You’ll Need (Besides a Cape and Superpowers!)

Hold onto your hats — ideally, you’ll have at least 6 months of social care experience to join our merry band of care crusaders!

But here’s the truth: what matters most to us is your heart of gold and your ability to sprinkle kindness wherever you go. You’ll need to be as resilient as a rubber band and as eager to learn as a curious kitten. Don’t worry — we’ll help you level up your skills and knowledge as part of our close-knit (and delightfully quirky) team.

While experience is a bonus, we’re really looking for people who:
