Eclipse Homecare is recruiting compassionate Care Assistants to support service users across Worcestershire, including Kidderminster, Worcester Central, St Johns, and Malvern. Join a growing team delivering in-home care to help people live safely and independently at home.

You’ll work with a dedicated team, receive fully funded qualifications, and have access to career progression opportunities, paid training, and flexible hours across early, late, and long-day shifts.

We're currently recruiting Care Assistants across some of Worcestershire's most vibrant and diverse communities. Thanks to rapid expansion, we are actively hiring for:

  • Kidderminster - DY10, DY11, DY12, DY13 - Small, yet mighty, there has been a huge demand for our expert services. Yet another primary contract with the local authority, meaning we receive around 20 new referrals each week, ready to be delivered by our expert care professionals

Worcester Central - WR1, WR2, WR3, WR4, WR5 - a rapidly growing area, with a primary contracts with the local authority meaning guaranteed packages of care to delivered by our teams, with 10 plus new referrals a week

St Johns - another rapidly growing area, with a small close knit team looking to grow into a large close knit team. With another primary contract with the local authority, meaning we receive around 5 new referrals each week, ready to be delivered by our expert care professionals

  • Malvern - With a primary contract with the local authority, new referrals come through rapidly each week

We also have opportunities across Tenbury Wells & Bromyard!

Local Work, Local Clients We aim to match our Care Professionals to clients within their local area wherever possible, helping you spend less time travelling and more time making a difference.

Our services operate 7 days a week. We are currently looking for staff to cover a variety of full-time and part-time shift patterns, including:

Earlies - 7am - 2pm

Tea & Bed - 4pm-10pm

Long Days:07am- 10pm(requiring availability for at least 5 days a week).

Job Description

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Care Professional, you’ll provide essential care and support in the homes of our clients, following personalised care plans that put dignity and respect at the heart of everything you do.

You’ll help with:

Supporting with personal care- bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming with the utmost dignity

Assisting with medication- preparation and safe administration

Helping with mobility - using aids/equipment safely and supporting rehabilitation after hospital stays

Preparing meals/snacksand offering mealtime support

Carrying out light domestic duties - laundry, making beds, household tasks

Offering companionshipand building meaningful relationships

What Else You’ll Help With

Companionship - conversations, activities, outings

Social Inclusion - encouraging participation in hobbies, interests, and community activities

Promoting Independence - ensuring dignity and choice are at the forefront of your care

Mobility Assistance - transfers, walking support, use of aids

Health Monitoring - observing and reporting changes in condition

Emotional Support - empathy, reassurance, and a listening ear

Safety & Emergency Response - creating safe environments, acting quickly when needed

Collaboration - working closely with colleagues, professionals, and families

Qualifications

What You’ll Need (Besides a Cape and Superpowers!)

Hold onto your hats — ideally, you’ll have at least 6 months of social care experience to join our merry band of care crusaders!

But here’s the truth: what matters most to us is your heart of gold and your ability to sprinkle kindness wherever you go. You’ll need to be as resilient as a rubber band and as eager to learn as a curious kitten. Don’t worry — we’ll help you level up your skills and knowledge as part of our close-knit (and delightfully quirky) team.

While experience is a bonus, we’re really looking for people who:

Are committed to respectful, high-quality care that would make your gran proud.
