Job summary

The CCH Group is seeking a compassionate Complex Care Assistant to support an adult client at home, focusing on managing complex clinical needs with careful monitoring and responsive care.

You will encourage alternative communication methods for a non-verbal client, using eye gaze technology where appropriate and contributing to the person’s quality of life through thoughtful, client-centered care.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience with Tracheostomy and Ventilation.
• Desirable: PEG feeding, medication administration, moving & handling equipment, communication with non-verbal clients.

Responsibilities

• Support an adult client in their home.
• Manage complex clinical needs with regular monitoring.
• Encourage and support alternative communication methods (eye gaze).
• Work proactively as part of a caring team to improve quality of life.

What you'll do

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Complex Care Assistant to support an adult client in their home. This role involves managing a range of complex clinical needs that require regular monitoring and attention. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, proactive, and a reliable team player who demonstrates empathy, patience, and adaptability.

As the client is non-verbal and uses eye gaze technology to communicate, you will play a vital role in encouraging and supporting alternative communication methods to help them express their needs and enhance their quality of life. This is a highly rewarding opportunity to build on your existing care skills while making a meaningful and lasting impact.

Qualifications

Candidate would need to meet the following requirements before applying:
