Job summary

CCH is seeking a compassionate Complex Care Assistant to support an adult client in their home in Northfleet. You will manage complex clinical needs with monitoring and teamwork to enhance quality of life.

The client is non-verbal and uses eye gaze technology; you will support alternative communication methods and be part of a values-driven complex care team. Driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Experience with tracheostomy and ventilation is essential.
• Desirable: PEG feeding, medication administration, moving & handling equipment.
• Good communication skills for non-verbal clients are valued.

Responsibilities

• Support an adult client at home with complex clinical needs and regular monitoring.
• Encourage and support alternative communication methods for non-verbal client.
• Be a reliable team player, showing empathy, patience and adaptability.

This role involves managing a range of complex clinical needs that require regular monitoring and attention. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, proactive, and a reliable team player who demonstrates empathy, patience, and adaptability.

As the client is non-verbal and uses eye gaze technology to communicate, you will play a vital role in encouraging and supporting alternative communication methods to help them express their needs and enhance their quality of life. Qualifications
