Job summary

Larkview Care Home, part of Care Concern Group Limited, is seeking a Care Assistant in Canterbury to deliver person-centred care to residents with dignity and independence. You will support daily living, follow care plans and contribute to a warm, respectful environment within a close-knit team.

Full training and ongoing development are provided, with opportunities to progress within the care home network. DBS checks are paid, and a provided uniform helps you start confidently on arrival.

Job description

Our care home has stunning views from both sides looking onto beautiful Kent countryside, and provides a cosy and homely feel for up to 64 residents - We provide Nursing, Residential, Dementia & Respite Care.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.03 per hour
• Contracted to 36-48 hours per week
• Paid DBS pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
