Job summary

Agincare is seeking a Home Care Assistant in Bridport to help people live independently at home. You will support daily routines, assist with meals and shopping, and provide companionship to clients in their own homes. A warm, patient approach and teamwork are essential.

Full UK driving licence is required and sponsorship is not available. Training and career development are provided, with flexible contracts and mileage benefits.

Qualifications

• Warm, compassionate nature with strong people skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Minimum 12 months remaining on your right to work in the UK (no sponsorship).

Responsibilities

• Support people with daily routines, including household tasks and personal care.
• Help with shopping, prepare nutritious meals, and make tea.
• Provide companionship, a listening ear, and friendly conversation.
• Assist with medication as needed.

• Up to £14.20 per hour and paid mileage 32p per mile

You don’t need previous care experience, as long as you bring:

• A warm and compassionate nature with great people skills and a positive, team-focused attitude
• A full UK driving licence
• A minimum of 12 months remaining on your right to work in the UK (please note we cannot offer sponsorship)
