Job summary

Agincare is hiring a Home Care Assistant in Bridport to help people stay independent at home. You will support daily routines, meals, shopping, and personal care while offering companionship and a friendly presence in their day.

No care experience is required, but a warm personality, a full UK driving licence, and weekend flexibility are essential. Training is provided, with a welcoming team and strong career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Warm and compassionate nature with great people skills and a positive, team-focused attitude.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Flexibility to work alternating weekends.
• A minimum of 12 months remaining on your right to work in the UK (no sponsorship).

Responsibilities

• Support people with daily routines, household tasks and personal care.
• Help with shopping, meals and making tea for clients.
• Provide companionship, listen and engage in conversations.
• Assist with medication as required.
