Job summary

Agincare in Bridport is seeking a Home Care Assistant to support local residents in remaining independent at home. You will be part of a compassionate team delivering high-quality in-home care across the community.

The role offers an enhanced pay rate starting at £14 per hour, plus a £500 Welcome Bonus. Benefits include paid mileage, up to £14.20/hour, and a Refer a Friend incentive up to £1,000, with pension and Blue Light discounts. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• A warm and compassionate nature with great people skills and a positive, team-focused attitude.
• Full UK driving licence is required to perform home visits.
• Flexibility to work alternating weekends and travel to client homes.

Responsibilities

• Support clients with daily routines and personal care.
• Assist with shopping, meal preparation, and household tasks.
• Provide companionship and a listening ear during visits.
• Assist with medication administration as required.

Requirements

You don’t need previous care experience, as long as you bring:

• A warm and compassionate nature with great people skills and a positive, team-focused attitude
• A full UK driving licence
• Flexibility to work alternating weekends
• A minimum of 12 months remaining on your right to work in the UK (please note we cannot offer sponsorship)
