Job summary

Bluebird Care Wiltshire North is seeking a caring and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. You’ll help clients stay independent at home, delivering high-quality support with compassion and professionalism.

You’ll provide personal care, meals, medication support, and light domestic tasks, with full induction and ongoing expert training. Flexible shift patterns and uniform are provided to fit your lifestyle.

Qualifications

• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Kind, compassionate attitude with a calm approach to care.
• Great communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
• Ability to follow care plans.
• Previous care experience is beneficial but not required; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care tailored to each person’s individual needs.
• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Help with meal preparation and nutrition.
• Support with medication, prescriptions, and safe disposal.
• Carry out light housework like tidying, laundry, and general cleaning.
• Be a dependable, friendly, familiar face for all the customers you care for.
