Job summary

Horizon Homecare in Bournemouth is seeking a Community Care Assistant to provide person-centred home care, assist with meals, medications and daily tasks, and offer companionship. Your role supports independence and wellbeing for clients in a local setting.

We welcome caring, flexible individuals with excellent communication skills; a UK driver’s licence and right to work in the UK are required. Training and shadowing are provided, with part‑time or full‑time shifts and weekend availability.

About The Role

• Pay Rate: £14 per hour
• Experience: No experience needed – full training + shadowing provided
• Hours: Flexible part-time or full-time shifts available
• Weekend Work: Weekend availability required (flexible rota)
• Mileage Options:
• Mileage Rate: Higher hourly pay + claim mileage separately via HMRC
• Non-Mileage Rate: Slightly lower pay + mileage paid through payroll
