Horizon Homecare in the United Kingdom is recruiting a Community Care Assistant to provide person-centred home care, support with meals, medications, and daily tasks, and offer companionship and emotional support.

You will help with appointments, shopping and social outings while promoting independence, dignity and wellbeing. Flexible hours include weekend work, with full training and shadowing provided.

About The Role

Community Care Assistant – Make a Real Impact!

Key Information

• Pay Rate: £14 per hour
• Experience: No experience needed – full training + shadowing provided
• Hours: Flexible part-time or full-time shifts available
• Weekend Work: Weekend availability required (flexible rota)
• Mileage Options
  • Mileage Rate: Higher hourly pay + claim mileage separately via HMRC
  • Non-Mileage Rate: Slightly lower pay + mileage paid through payroll
• Please note: Due to the personal care needs of our female clients, this role is open to female applicants only, as permitted under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010 (Genuine Occupational Requirement).
