Job summary

Horizon Homecare seeks a Community Care Assistant to provide person-centred home care, helping with meals, medication and daily tasks while offering companionship and support. You will assist clients with appointments, shopping and outings, promoting independence and wellbeing in a compassionate, reliable team.

Various shifts available, including part-time or full-time, with flexible rosters and weekend work. Training and development are provided to support career growth in in-home care.

Community Care Assistant – Make a Real Impact!

Key Information

• Pay Rate: £14 per hour
• Experience: No experience needed – full training + shadowing provided
• Hours: Flexible part-time or full-time shifts available
• Weekend Work: Weekend availability required (flexible rota)
• Mileage Options:
• Mileage Rate: Higher hourly pay + claim mileage separately via HMRC
• Non-Mileage Rate: Slightly lower pay + mileage paid through payroll
