Job summary

Osprey Court Care Home in Pitcrocknie Village near Alyth seeks a Care Assistant to deliver person-centred care day and night. You will support residents with daily living, dignity and independence, following care plans to promote wellbeing.

This role welcomes both experienced carers and newcomers, with full training, ongoing development and a supportive team. Full-time and part-time contracts are available.

Qualifications

• SVQ Level 2 desirable.
• Previous experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Willingness to learn and develop.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living including personal care and mobility.

Care and Support - Osprey Court Care Home

Contract: Full Time and Part- Time

Shift Type: Days & Nights Available

Contracted hours: 22-44

Osprey Court Care Home is a purpose built 60 bed care home located in Pitcrocknie Village, adjacent to the town of Alyth in Perth and Kinross. Providing Residential, Nursing, Dementia and Respite care, the home offers a modern, high quality environment where team members can build strong relationships, develop their skills and make a meaningful difference as part of a supportive and welcoming team.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.60 per hour
• Full time and part time contracts available
• Dayshift and Nightshift available
• Paid PVG pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
