Job summary

Osprey Court Care Home, part of Care Concern Group, is seeking a Team Leader to oversee day-to-day care at our 60-bed home near Alyth. You will lead shifts, supervise staff, and coordinate delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred support.

You will manage care planning, medication administration and documentation, ensuring regulatory compliance and best practice. Flexible full-time and part-time contracts available at £15.00 per hour.

Job description

Osprey Court Care Home is a purpose built 60 bed care home located in Pitcrocknie Village, adjacent to the town of Alyth in Perth and Kinross. Providing Residential, Nursing, Dementia and Respite care, the home offers a modern, high quality environment where team members can build strong relationships, develop their skills and make a meaningful difference as part of a supportive and welcoming team.

Team Leader Contract

• £15.00 per hour
• Full Time and Part Time Available
• Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As Team Leader, you will play a key role in the day to day leadership and delivery of care within the home, ensuring residents receive safe, high quality and person centred support at all times. Working alongside the nursing and management team, you will help maintain standards, support compliance and ensure best practice is consistently followed.

You will lead shifts, supervise and support care staff, and take responsibility for the coordination of care delivery. This includes overseeing care planning, medication administration, documentation and risk management, ensuring all practices align with regulatory requirements and organisational standards.

You will act as a role model within the team, promoting positive working practices, supporting staff development and ensuring a culture of respect, dignity and accountability. You will also contribute to audits, reviews and continuous improvement, helping to maintain a well run and high performing service.
