Job summary

Osprey Court Care Home is part of Care Concern Group, a family owned care provider. The Team Leader will guide day-to-day care delivery, support compliance and foster a culture of dignity and accountability within a 60-bed home.

You will lead shifts, supervise staff, coordinate care delivery, manage documentation and assist with audits to ensure high standards of service across residential, nursing and dementia care.

Qualifications

• SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care required.
• Medication administration training with competency required.
• Experience leading or supporting a care team.
• Strong communication and leadership skills essential.
• Caring, compassionate and professional approach.

Responsibilities

Job description

Osprey Court Care Home is a purpose built 60 bed care home located in Pitcrocknie Village, adjacent to the town of Alyth in Perth and Kinross. Providing Residential, Nursing, Dementia and Respite care, the home offers a modern, high quality environment where team members can build strong relationships, develop their skills and make a meaningful difference as part of a supportive and welcoming team.

• £15.00 per hour
• Full Time and Part Time Available
• Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As Team Leader, you will play a key role in the day to day leadership and delivery of care within the home, ensuring residents receive safe, high quality and person centred support at all times. Working alongside the nursing and management team, you will help maintain standards, support compliance and ensure best practice is consistently followed.

You will lead shifts, supervise and support care staff, and take responsibility for the coordination of care delivery. This includes overseeing care planning, medication administration, documentation and risk management, ensuring all practices align with regulatory requirements and organisational standards.

You will act as a role model within the team, promoting positive working practices, supporting staff development and ensuring a culture of respect, dignity and accountability. You will also contribute to audits, reviews and continuous improvement, helping to maintain a well run and high performing service.
