Job summary

Hillside Lodge Care Home in Berwick-upon-Tweed is a friendly and supportive care home where residents and colleagues are at the heart of everything we do.

As a Care Assistant you will support residents with personal care, mobility, nutrition and daily routines while promoting independence and wellbeing. We offer full-time and part-time contracts, with day and night shifts, plus meals on shift and a range of benefits.

Qualifications

• A caring and compassionate approach.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliability and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Previous care experience is welcomed but not essential.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.60 per hour
• Full time and part time hours available
• Dayshift: 8:00am – 8:00pm
• Nightshift: 8:00pm – 8:00am
• Enhanced overtime incentives following completion of contracted hours
• Meals on shift
• Paid DBS, pension, onsite parking and uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)
