Job summary

Care Concern Group’s Almond Valley Care Home in Livingston is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to support residents with daily living, personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing. You will follow care plans and contribute to a comfortable, respectful environment.

You will work as part of a supportive team with full training and ongoing development, and shifts including evenings are available at this caring home in the UK.

Qualifications

• Reliable and positive attitude; willingness to learn.
• Previous care experience is beneficial but not essential.

Job description

Almond Valley Care Home is a purpose built 66 bed care home located in Almondside, Livingston. Providing Residential, Nursing, Dementia and Respite care, the home offers a modern, high quality environment where team members can deliver person centred care, develop their skills and be part of a supportive and welcoming team.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.60 per hour
• 8PM until Midnight
• Paid PVG pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
