Job summary

Guthrie House Care Home in Edinburgh provides high quality Residential, Nursing, Dementia, Respite and Palliative Care in a warm and welcoming environment.

As a Care Assistant you will support residents with personal care, mobility, meals and daily routines while helping them remain comfortable, safe and independent.

This role offers full-time and part-time hours, day and night shifts, a two week rolling rota, paid PVG, pension and uniform, plus 5.6 weeks annual leave for full-time staff.

• Care experience welcomed but not essential.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are important.
• Reliability and responsibility are valued.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.60 per hour
• Full time and part time hours available
• Dayshift & Nightshift Available – 8:00am to 8:00pm or 8:00pm to 8:00am
• Two week rolling rota provided in advance, helping you plan ahead and achieve a better work life balance
• Paid PVG, pension and uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)
