Buchanan Lodge Care Home in Bearsden, North Glasgow, is a lovingly converted former convent offering Residential, Nursing, Respite and Dementia care for 38- plus residents. We blend historic charm with modern comforts to create a warm and supportive environment.

As a Care Assistant, you will deliver person-centred care, assist with daily living including mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, and follow care plans to ensure safe, responsive care.

Buchanan Lodge Care Home, located in the quiet, leafy suburb of Bearsden in North Glasgow, is a thoughtfully converted former convent offering Residential, Nursing, Respite, and Dementia care for 38- residents. Care Assistant Contract

• £13.60 per hour
• Contracted to full time or part time hours per week
• Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
