Job summary

Helping Hands Home Care in West Bridgford is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to join our East 9 branch. You’ll support the branch team, help deliver extraordinary care, and mentor new carers to uphold our high standards.

With a full, clean UK driving licence and a compassionate, people-first mindset, you’ll review care plans, complete documentation, and contribute to compliant, person-centred care every day.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Care Assistant.
• Full, clean UK driving licence and access to a roadworthy vehicle.
• Strong communication skills with a supportive, encouraging approach.

What you’ll do

• Train, mentor and support new carers so they feel confident, capable and ready to deliver extraordinary care.
• Assist the branch team with compliance, auditing and documentation.
• Complete spot checks and supervisions to maintain high standards across your care team.
• Visit customers to review care plans, ensuring they remain accurate, safe and person-centred.
• Carry out risk assessments with care, clarity and professionalism.
• Support on-call duties in line with the branch rota.
