Job summary

Helping Hands Home Care in Beverley is seeking a motivated candidate for a role that blends field care with team leadership. You will train and mentor carers, support branch compliance, and visit customers to review and refine care plans.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Care Assistant is required.
• Full, clean UK driving licence and access to a roadworthy, insured vehicle.
• Strong communication skills and a supportive, encouraging approach to teamwork.
• Calm, kind mindset and readiness to lead by example.
• Keen eye for detail and confidence in maintaining compliance and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Train, mentor and support new carers so they feel confident and capable.
• Assist the branch team with compliance, auditing and documentation.
• Complete spot checks and supervisions to maintain high standards across the care team.
• Visit customers to review care plans, ensuring they remain accurate, safe and person-centred.
• Carry out risk assessments with care, clarity and professionalism.
• Support on-call duties in line with the branch rota.
