Job summary

Helping Hands Plymouth is seeking a Field Care Supervisor to lead and mentor carers within the local branch, with options for part-time 30 hours or full-time 40 hours including 10 carer hours, delivering exceptional care in customers’ homes.

You will visit customers, review and adjust care plans to keep them accurate and person-centred while supporting the branch with compliance and audits. A driving licence and a compassionate, people-first approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Care Assistant and a desire to take the next step in your career.
• A full, clean UK driving licence and access to a roadworthy, insured vehicle.
• Strong communication skills and a supportive, encouraging approach to working with others.
• A people-first mindset – calm, kind and ready to lead by example.

Responsibilities

• Train, mentor and support new carers so they feel confident, capable and ready to deliver extraordinary care.
• Assist the branch team with compliance, auditing and documentation.
• Complete spot checks and supervisions to maintain high standards across your care team.
• Visit customers to review care plans, ensuring they remain accurate, safe and person-centred.
• Carry out risk assessments with care, clarity and professionalism.
• Support on‑call duties in line with the branch rota.
