Job summary

Jubilee Lodge Short Breaks Service in Skipton, North Yorkshire, is recruiting a part-time Care and Support Worker to help run a 24/7 service on a rota of four shifts per week. Shifts are 7:30am–3:00pm or 2:30pm–10:00pm, with weekend shifts paid at £30 extra.

No prior care experience is required; we provide training and qualifications. A full driving licence is advantageous but not essential, and the role offers supportive supervision and a values-led workplace.

Salary: £13.92 to £14.59 per hour, plus £30 payment for each weekend shift worked

We are recruiting a part-time Care and Support Worker to join our dedicated teams at Jubilee Lodge Short Breaks Service. You will help run our 24/7 service, 4 shifts each week, this will include some weekend shifts. Our shifts pattern runs 7.30am to 3.00pm or 2.30pm to 10.00pm.

About the Role

You will be supporting adults with Learning Disabilities, Physical Disabilities, and Autism in a person-centred way. Whether it’s helping someone access community activities, supporting their independence, along with their personal care needs or simply being a friendly face. Having a full driving licence would be an advantage but not essential. We are an active community, so try to get out and about as much as possible. no two days are the same!


You don’t need to have previous experience of working in care, nor do you need qualifications, we will support you with specific training and qualifications required for the role.
