Northumberland County Council is recruiting a Care Worker to support residents at Tynedale House. This part-time role (17.5 hours per week) focuses on assisting with daily routines, providing emotional support, and promoting independence and dignity in a compassionate, community-based setting.
You will follow care plans, work with a multidisciplinary team, and help maintain a safe, clean environment. Training including medication administration is provided, with shifts mainly nights and weekends.

What's the role about? As a Care Worker, you'll be a key part of the support system that helps our residents live with independence, dignity, and joy. From assisting with daily routines to providing emotional support, your presence will be both comforting and empowering.

The role will be a great fit for you if:
Part-time, Permanent role - 17.5 hours per week
£12,487.90 - 13,310.451 + single premium rate (SPR) payment which enhances your salary for working unsociable hours, between 8pm and 6am and during weekends.
Please note, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position.
Shift pattern:
2 x nights per week on a rolling rota over eight weeks.
9.75 hours per shift .
