Job summary

Equals Group PLC is seeking a senior product lead for Cards to own strategy, roadmap and outcomes. You will collaborate with Engineering on system design and directly manage the Visa and Mastercard relationship to identify and ship opportunities.

You will work with Design, Commercial, Product Marketing, Operations, Risk and Compliance to move ideas quickly while maintaining regulatory compliance and customer value.

Qualifications

• Years in product management owning a vertical end to end.
• Direct experience with cards or payments including issuing and acquiring.
• Strong technical depth to partner with Engineering on system design.
• Hands-on with card schemes, processors or partners to shape outcomes.
• Data-driven decision making based on raw numbers and evidence.
• Commercial sense including pricing discussions and business impact.
• Sharp prioritisation and the ability to say no to good ideas.
• Experience delivering in regulated environments with scheme constraints.
• Excellent written communication to explain trade-offs clearly.
• Drive to move ideas from concept to reality quickly.
• Customer instinct for clear data, controls and reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• The Cards product strategy, roadmap and prioritisation, end to end.
• Grow the card proposition with targets and a plan to hit them.
• Manage Visa and Mastercard relationships from integration to opportunities.
• Identify and develop new card products and market opportunities.
• Own the card platform roadmap: issuing, configuration, controls, limits and tooling.
• Oversee end-to-end customer experience from application to spend and support.
• Collaborate with wider partners including Commercial and Legal.
• Lead launch of new card products and markets with Product Marketing and Sales.
• Define, instrument and report Cards metrics for the business.
