Hours: Full Time – 37 Hours, Mon-Fri
We are seeking an experienced registered nurse to join our specialist nursing teams within Cardiology. The successful candidate will become an integral part of the team, developing skills and knowledge in the specialty, and supporting the delivery of specialist nursing interventions for patients with cardiac diseases & conditions. Responsibilities include assessment of acute coronary syndrome, myocardial infarction, arrhythmias, post-surgery patients, and outpatient reviews.
The post involves leading nurse-led cardiac care across Tayside & North East Fife, focusing initially on cardiac rehabilitation, arrhythmia, and heart failure. The role requires autonomous working within a multidisciplinary team, with services delivered across Tayside.
Applicants must be registered on Sub-part 1: RN1 or RNA, or Sub-part 2: RN2 of the UK NMC Register, with evidence of continuing professional development, ideally educated to degree level or working towards it. Experience in cardiology and post-registration experience are essential, with leadership experience preferred.
Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills are necessary, as well as the ability to travel across Tayside, including Angus, PRI, and Ninewells.
