Job summary

Candour Talent Ltd is recruiting a Business Development Executive to join our client in Cardiff. This permanent role (Mon-Fri) offers £30k basic with OTE £38k, 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays, and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will grow sales and market share in the region, re-engage lapsed accounts, and build strong relationships with existing customers. A proactive, target-driven approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Sales experience in distributor of technical/hi-tech products or manufacturing.
• CRM/ERP system experience.
• Excellent telephone manner.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Grow sales and market share within the region.
• Re-engage with lapsed accounts.
• Develop and maintain positive customer relationships.
• Keep customers informed regarding the progress of their orders, liaising with suppliers when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM system, including the use of activities to ensure full and up to date information is stored.
• Deliver tailored quotes to meet customer needs.
• Onboard new customers with a friendly, proactive approach.
• Provide first-class follow-up support for existing customers to strengthen relationships.
