Job summary

Furza in Cardiff is expanding its sales team and seeks a Business Development Executive at the start of your career. You will be the first point of contact for new prospects, researching SMEs and engaging decision makers by phone, email and LinkedIn.

You will book qualified meetings, keep the CRM up to date and hit weekly and monthly activity targets. The role comes with a £28,000 basic salary plus on-target earnings, plus structured training and a clear path to progression in a supportive team.

Qualifications

• No IT background required; training provided.
• Confident on the phone when talking to business owners.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Curiosity about how businesses run and what gets in their way.

Responsibilities

• Research and identify SME prospects across target sectors.
• Make outbound calls, send emails and use LinkedIn to engage decision makers.
• Run discovery conversations to understand current setup and pain points.
• Book qualified meetings for the wider sales team.
• Keep the CRM accurate and up to date.
• Work to weekly and monthly activity and pipeline targets.
