Job summary

Croydon Health Services NHS Trust is seeking an experienced Programme Manager to oversee the Business as Usual capital programme. You will lead a project office of six including senior and junior project managers and a PMO manager, ensuring projects meet their brief, schedule and budget.

This role reports to the Associate Director for Planning and Programmes and involves risk management, progress reporting and stakeholder engagement as we expand hospital and community services across Croydon.

• Experience as Programme Manager overseeing capital programmes is essential.
• Strong leadership and line-management abilities.
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

We are seeking an experienced Programme Manager to oversee the work of the 'Business as Usual' capital programme at Croydon Health Services NHS Trust. Likely projects include minor refurbishment works, key infrastructure improvements, site developments to support enhanced services and new-builds. Reporting to the Associate Director for Planning and Programmes your main duties will include:

• Oversee a project office team of 6 including senior and junior project managers and a PMO manager, including line management.
• Responsible for ensuring projects are delivered to specification, on time and within budget.
• Actively monitoring and managing risks to the effective delivery of projects, escalating where appropriate.
• Reporting upwards on progress.
