Job summary

Samuel Frank Associates Ltd is recruiting a Mechanical Project Engineer for a major manufacturing site in Deeside, North West. You will lead capital projects from concept through commissioning, ensuring on-time delivery and budget compliance.

The role requires excellent communication and robust project, stakeholder and contract management, with a Mechanical Engineering background and CapEx delivery experience in heavy industry. Competitive benefits include a 10% pension, quarterly bonus and BUPA.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, and strong project, stakeholder and contract management skills.
• Experience delivering mechanically biased capital projects from concept through commissioning.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and engineering standards is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mechanically biased capital projects from concept, design and specification through to installation, commissioning and handover.
• Produce project plans, progress reports and governance documentation.
• Manage equipment suppliers and on-site installation activities.
• Work with operations, maintenance, procurement, finance and HSE teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Support plant improvement and process development projects.
