Samuel Frank is recruiting an experienced Project Manager for a major Deeside manufacturing site. The role focuses on delivering CAPEX and revenue projects on a static, plant-based site with no travel.

This is a large industrial environment undergoing investment and transformation, offering rapid impact and career progression within a structured program. A degree or HND/HNC is preferred, with strong planning and contractor leadership required.

Qualifications

• Electrical or mechanical background with site-based project experience.
• Experience delivering CAPEX and revenue projects end-to-end.
• Degree or equivalent qualifications preferred.
• Plant environment background with willingness to work on-site.

Responsibilities

• Deliver CAPEX and revenue projects from cradle to grave, incl. spec, tendering, procurement, installation and commissioning.
• Lead a multi-million-pound plant upgrade with strong planning, contractor management and stakeholder coordination.
• Manage external contractors and lead small teams; ensure safe practices and compliance.
• Maintain strong budgetary control: CAPEX justification, cost tracking and financial reporting.
• Candidates from systems integrator or heavy industrial/process backgrounds encouraged.
• Degree-qualified preferred; high-calibre HND/HNC candidates considered.
• Company supports Chartership and professional body memberships.
• Plant is evolving; opportunity to stand out and progress to more senior roles.

Project Manager - Deeside / North West - Static Role - £57-60k + 10% pension + quarterly bonus + overtime + BUPA + 28 days leave + Bank Holidays + annual pay review

Samuel Frank is recruiting for an experienced Project Manager from either an electrical or mechanical background to join a major manufacturing site in the Deeside area. This Project Manager role sits within a large, well-known industrial environment that is currently going through significant investment and transformation, offering the successful Project Manager genuine scope to make an impact quickly.

Responsibilities

• This Project Manager role is focused on delivering CAPEX and revenue projects from cradle to grave, including specification, tendering, procurement, installation and commissioning
• The initial focus for the Project Manager will be a significant multi-million-pound plant upgrade project, requiring strong planning, contractor management and stakeholder coordination skills
• Experience managing external contractors and leading small teams is essential, with responsibility for ensuring safe working practices and compliance
• The successful Project Manager will have strong budgetary control experience, including CAPEX justification, cost tracking and financial reporting
• Candidates are likely to come from a systems integrator or heavy industrial / process environment background
• Degree qualified is strongly preferred, high calibre HND/HNC level candidates with relevant experience will be considered

Role Location & Requirements

The role is fully site-based near Deeside with flexible start/finish times around core hours. This Project Manager role is commutable from Deeside, Chester, Wrexham, Ellesmere Port, Liverpool, Warrington, Runcorn and surrounding areas.
