A healthcare organization in Hull is seeking a Capital Project Manager to lead capital investment and backlog maintenance projects. This role requires extensive on-site experience and managing various stakeholders, including contractors and design teams. A Capital Project Manager plays a key role in the Capital Development Team with Estates, Facilities and Development Directorate. The post holder will take ownership and be responsible for coordinating and managing a varied range of Capital Investment and Backlog Maintenance Projects ensuring they are delivered successfully. The role requires extensive on‑site experience managing multiple stakeholders including contractors, design teams, consultants, principal designers, building control, users and patient experience groups. Whilst the post holder must have extension experience in the built environment, it is desirable that the applicant has knowledge of or experience in civil engineering.

The role will include taking ownership of and successfully delivering allocated capital, maintenance and infrastructure projects. It will involve supporting business case preparation; engaging with supply chains; managing internal and external resources; liaising with external design teams and internal clinical stakeholders.
The role will also include planning and scheduling works, monitoring and reporting on progress, and providing technical advice and support to all staff within the Estates and Facilities Directorate.
