Job summary

The Christie NHS Foundation Trust in Manchester is seeking an MDT Co-ordinator/Patient Pathway Tracker to help streamline cancer patient pathways and MDT processes.

You will work within the NHS cancer data environment, track patients from referral to treatment, and prepare weekly MDT lists using information from secretaries and clinicians. The role requires strong Microsoft Office skills and excellent organisation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 GCSEs or relevant experience
• ECDL
• Evidence of further education

Responsibilities

• Facilitate MDT meetings to ensure they run effectively and are well coordinated
• Create and circulate MDT lists prior to meetings using information from clinicians and secretaries
• Attend MDT meetings and record attendance and outcomes; ensure data is entered into the local system
• Coordinate the patient pathway tracking to meet National Cancer Waiting times and escalate delays when needed
